Sponsorship Thank you: The kids Christmas Party this year was a little grander than most with BJ Bear and Charlie Chicken here to entertain the kids until Santa arrived. The Club would like to thank Curtain Sewing, The Gym Waikanae and Rylock for their sponsorship towards BJ Bear and also Sorrisi on Elizabeth for suppling the food on the day.
We will be hosting teams from around the North Island in our Annual JK Memorial NZ Masters Invitation 8 Ball Pairs Tournament over the weekend of February 18 and 19th, a great big thank you to our organisers who come through for us every year with this event. Rob Anderson, Rod Foster and Nev Savage. Come along and support our Club members competing.
The Golf Adjunct’s next trip away is on Saturday 11th February to Linton. Spaces are still available on the board. The bus leaes at 8.30am sharp!
The Goldies annual trip in February is well underway. This year they are going to be staying in Taupo and have many activities planned for their time away.
Our Lawn Bowls team representing Waikanae Chartered Club have done quite well with 4 wins and 1 draw after 8 rounds played after 3 days of section play. Even their losses were very close. Well done.
Our first ClubDay lunch will be on Thursday 1st March. Lunch for only $5 and we will be starting the year with Housie. So bring along some coin and have a go! The booking sheet for lunch will be on the bar soon.
In March we have have two fabulous nights planned, the first on Friday 9th all the way from the shakey city, the D&D Showband (Desperate & Dateless) come along and be entertain with 3 different shows; ABBA, Moulin Rouge and the band as themselves. A night not to be missed. Tickets only $20 and well worth it!
Get in the mood on St Patricks Day with a Guiness or two and then enjoy the sounds of Black Eyed Susie. No cover charge just come along in your greenwear!
