The Waikanae Chartered Club is committed to providing a venue where members, their guests and affiliated members can relax and enjoy a range of leisure and sporting activities in a friendly and safe environment.

The President, Committee and fellow members of the Waikanae Club extend you a warm welcome as a new member.

The Club has a wide range of services and facilities that you are encouraged to be part of and enjoy. The Club is open 7 days per week for your use and enjoyment.

Members can arrange to have private functions at the club. Please see Shar for more information.

The club requires a clean and tidy standard of dress at all times.

Children are welcome but must be supervised by a parent or guardian.

Notice boards at the entrance to the Club will feature all the latest events coming up at the Club as well as the adjunct notice board found scattered around the club walls. You can also send us your email address and you will receive our regular announcements.

Members are expected to abide by the club rules, copies of these rules can be obtained at the office or on the club website.

House rules: Almost all Clubs throughout New Zealand have a couple of house rules that are commonly required by members and visitors alike.  Hats must be removed before entering a club, unless for a special occasion.  Return empty glasses and bottles to either the bar or the area provided alongside the bar.

Members may bring guests into the club.  The member must sign the visitor’s book in the foyer and the guest must carry the tear off slip with them whilst in the club.  The visitor may not remain on the premises when the Member leaves. 

The Club has a Loyalty system which rewards members with loyalty points which may be redeemed for product across the bar.

Off-Licence Sales are available during Club hours to Waikanae Chartered Club Members Only.

  • Sunday                              2pm – 7pm   Summer hours:   2.30pm – 8pm
